Responsible for setting appropriate security and business continuity policies and assurance frameworks for the Department; to ensure government security policy is consistently applied within the Department; to make sure that there is capability to manage major security and business continuity incidents. The team is the Departmental contact point for the central security and intelligence agencies and the Civil Contingencies Secretariat, and ensures that all threats to our business are identified and risks to our assests (particularly information) are properly managed.
